What happens during a lash extension procedure?
Your appointment will usually begin with a 10 to 15 minute consultation for your lash artist to get to know you and the kind of look and texture you desire. You will then be reclined with your eyes closed while the lash stylist applies the lashes individually onto your own natural lashes with a safe and high quality adhesive. We recommend bringing in some of your favorite music and some earphones to help you relax and enjoy the relaxation time.

What are the do’s and don’ts for maintaining false eyelashes?
With proper care, your new eyelashes can last up to 8 weeks. You will want to avoid exposing your lashes to dirt, oil, and immersing them in water for an extended period of time. We recommend applying a lash extender product, which adds a silky layer of protection and adds to their longevity, in addition to visiting your eye lash extension salon every 2 to 3 weeks for a lash refill.

No – extensions have no affect on the natural growing pattern of your lashes. As your natural lashes regularly shed and grow, the average person loses 2 to 3 lashes per day. This pattern continues without any interruption from your extensions. The false lashes will simply shed along with your natural lashes.

You will not feel any pain during the entire application process. In fact, you should be able to fall asleep in your reclined chair as your eye lash stylist works. If you do feel any pain, it means that there is something wrong in the application. What types of eyelashes are available for me to choose from?

What conditions would prevent me from getting Xtreme lashes?
If you are allergic to latex, lash extensions are not for you as latex products and tools are used throughout the procedure. If you have you have a thyroid issue or are undergoing chemotherapy, your lashes are weaker due to medical treatments. Consult with your doctor about the safety of the procedure.

When and how do I remove the fake eye lashes?
As mentioned previously, false lashes shed along with your natural eyelashes and will be completely removed in about 90 days. If you wish to remove your fake eyelashes sooner, schedule an appointment with your salon to have them professionally removed. Removal is painless and usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes.
